The 3rd International Jewellery + Watch Vietnam 2009 (IJV)
expectations clearly exceeded
International Jewellery + Watch Vietnam (IJV) held in Tan Binh Exhibition and Convention Centre (formerly known as Ho Chi Minh City International Exhibition and Convention Centre - HIECC ) from 7 to 10 May 2009 was concluded in a great success.

Exhibitors and visitors were agreed with the overall success of their exhibiting activities and 87 per cent of the exhibitors were satisfied with the qualifications and competence of the visitors, and practically all of them made contact with the major target buyers during the four days of the fair.
These contacts resulted in new business connections for 91 per cent of the exhibitors. Some 96 per cent actually received direct and on-the-spot selling during the IJV 2009 spring fair, and 76 per cent of the companies also expect extra follow-up business. For nine out of ten companies, the IJV is an important to exceptionally important part of their marketing and sales activities in coming 12 months. And 82 per cent of the exhibitors had already decided during the 2009 IJV spring fair to be there again in autumn fair in December 2009.
Aside from Hong Kong exhibitors, there was the debut appearance of the Indian diamond suppliers, and other exhibitors from Italy, Malaysia, Turkey and the US showcasing their extensive array of precious jewellery, diamonds, pearls, gemstones, metals, manufacturing equipment and packaging.
